Siliguri Darjeeling Gangtok Tour Package Details
Day 01: Siliguri/Bagdogra to Gangtok (135 km / approx 4.5 hrs)
Begin your Darjeeling-Gangtok tour with arrival at Siliguri (NJP) railway station or Bagdogra (IXB) airport.
Our representative will greet you. Drive to Gangtok. On the way, stop at Coronation Bridge and enjoy the view of the Teesta River.
Day 02: Gangtok Sightseeing
Morning
Start your sightseeing with Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok. These spots offer wide views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks and Gangtok city.
Afternoon
Visit either Rumtek Monastery or Jhakri Falls. Then head to the Institute of Tibetology to see Tibetan Thanka paintings and antiques.
Explore the Orchid House with its variety of orchids, Enchay Monastery, and Dodurl Chorten.
Day 03: Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
Morning
Depart at 7:30 am for Tsomgo Lake, located 32 km from Gangtok at an altitude of over 12,000 ft.
After visiting the lake, drive another hour to reach Baba Mandir. You can take a yak ride near the lake (optional, extra cost).
Afternoon
Return to the hotel for lunch. In the evening, explore MG Marg, a popular area in Gangtok.
Note: Foreign nationals are allowed only up to Tsomgo Lake and must be accompanied by a certified local guide. Guide fees are additional.
Day 04: Gangtok to Darjeeling (98 km / approx 4.5 hrs)
Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling along a scenic route through the hills.
Stop at Peshok View Point to see where the Teesta and Rangeet rivers meet.
Day 05: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning
Leave around 4:00 am for Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,200 ft) along with nearby peaks like Kabru and Pandim.
On the return trip, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After Breakfast
Take a half-day tour of the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays).
Visit the Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, tea garden (outer view), Tenzing Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays).
Day 06: Darjeeling to Siliguri/Bagdogra (90 km / approx 3 hrs)
On the final day of your tour, travel back to Siliguri (NJP) or Bagdogra (IXB) through tea gardens and hilly landscapes. Depart with lasting memories of your journey.
