Day 1 – Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok
A representative will receive you at Bagdogra Airport, New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station, or Pakyong Airport. You will travel by road to Gangtok. The route offers scenic views with green hills and valleys.
After reaching Gangtok, check into the hotel. Have dinner at the hotel (self-paid).
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 – Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit the famous Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,210 feet. Next, proceed to the nearby New Baba Mandir, a sacred site.
If you want to visit Nathula Pass, you must inform in advance. The entry permit costs ₹3000 per vehicle. Note that Nathula Pass remains closed on Mondays.
Return to Gangtok by evening. You can explore the local market or nearby areas on your own.

Day 3 – Gangtok Half-Day Tour and Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, you will explore some of Gangtok’s key attractions. You will visit the Ropeway for a scenic view of the city, the peaceful Do-Drul Chorten stupa, and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which showcases Tibetan culture and history.
You will also see the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays) and the colorful Orchid Flower Show. Later in the day, you will travel from Gangtok to Darjeeling by road.
The drive offers refreshing views of hills, rivers, and forests. Once you arrive in Darjeeling, you will check into your hotel and can explore the local area in the evening at your own pace.
Day 4 – Darjeeling Sightseeing
Your day will begin early at 4:00 AM with a trip to Tiger Hill, where you will witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga, a highlight of any visit to Darjeeling.
After returning to the hotel for breakfast, you will continue your sightseeing with visits to Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop.
You will then explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and P.N. Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays), followed by Tenzing Rock and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays).
The day also includes a visit to a local tea garden and the peaceful Japanese Temple. After the tour, you will return to the hotel and have the evening free to explore nearby areas on your own.
Day 5 – Return and Departure
After breakfast, you will be dropped at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station based on your departure schedule.
