Day 1: Transfer to Lataguri & Jungle Safari at Gorumara
A representative will welcome you at New Malbazar Junction, NJP, or Bagdogra Airport. From there, travel to Lataguri, a village near Gorumara National Park, which takes about two and a half hours.
The park is known for its dense forests, flowing streams, and peaceful surroundings.
Stop for lunch on the way or after arriving at your pre-booked resort. After some rest, prepare for an exciting jungle safari at Gorumara.
Spot Bison, Barking Deer, Rhinoceros, and other wildlife while exploring the lush green forest.
Jungle safari tickets are subject to availability. Each visitor must stand in line with an original government-issued photo ID to purchase tickets.
Return to the resort and relax. In the evening, enjoy a stunning sunset and the calming sounds of nature. After dinner, stay overnight at Lataguri.
Day 2: Sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola
After breakfast, take a full-day trip to Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola, and Murti. Start with Samsing, a quiet village by the Murti River, known for its peaceful environment and scenic tea gardens.
Next, visit Suntalekhola, the gateway to Neora Valley National Park. Then, head to Jhallong, near the Indo-Bhutan border, to see the hydroelectric project on the Jaldhaka River.
After that, visit Bindu to view the cardamom plantations, enjoy the natural beauty, and spot migratory birds.
Finally, explore Murti, where you can walk by the river before returning to your resort in Lataguri. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Travel to Jaldapara
Wake up early, have breakfast, and check out from the resort. Say goodbye to Lataguri and begin your journey to Jaldapara with our experienced driver. Travel through a dense forest, covering 85 km in about 2 hours.
Jaldapara is a village next to Jaldapara National Park, known for its green landscapes and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, check in to your resort, freshen up, and rest.
Spend the rest of the day exploring nearby areas or relaxing. After dinner, stay overnight at Jaldapara.
Day 4: Sightseeing in Phuentsholing and Chilapata
After an early breakfast, start your journey to Phuentsholing with an experienced driver. The drive from Jaldapara takes about an hour, covering 30 km.
Phuentsholing is a border town in southern Bhutan, home to the Bhutan Gate, a beautifully decorated structure with colorful designs and dragon carvings.
Visit the Ammo Chuu Crocodile Breeding Center and Karbandi Monastery, a peaceful Buddhist site. After lunch, head to Chilapata, a dense forest near Jaldapara National Park.
This area serves as a natural elephant corridor between Jaldapara and Buxa. The main attraction is the ancient Nalraja Fort ruins.
Return to the resort in Jaldapara. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 5 – Transfer to Jayanti
On the fifth day of your Dooars tour (6 Nights, 7 Days), you will travel to Jayanti with our driver. Known as the “Queen of Dooars,” Jayanti is a small village in the Buxa Tiger Reserve, Alipurduar district, West Bengal.
The drive from Jaldapara takes about two hours. After reaching your resort, check-in and freshen up. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the village or relaxing.
End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Jayanti.
Day 6 – Sightseeing at Buxa & Jayanti
Start your day with a light breakfast before heading out for sightseeing. First, visit the ruins of Buxa Fort, where freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose were once held captive.
Next, explore Rajabhatkhawa, a small village inside Buxa Tiger Reserve, where you can spot wildlife from a watchtower.
Then, visit Pokhri Hill to see its sacred lake, home to magur fish and old turtles. Continue to TGN Watchtower for a clear view of animals like bison, rhinos, and deer.
Finally, visit Mahakal Cave, a religious site by the Jayanti River dedicated to Lord Shiva. Return to the resort in the evening, have dinner, and stay overnight at Jayanti.
Day 7 – Transfer to New Alipurduar
