Day 1: Transfer to Kalimpong
Your tour starts after you arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP. Our staff will welcome you and guide you to your vehicle. You will then travel to your pre-booked hotel in Kalimpong.
The distance is about 75 km and takes nearly 3 hours. You will pass through Sevoke and the well-known Coronation Bridge.
After reaching the hotel, you can rest or take a short walk nearby. Spend the night in Kalimpong.
Day 2: Kalimpong Local Sightseeing
Start your day with breakfast. Your local sightseeing trip will begin soon after. First, visit Deolo Hill for a wide view of the area and the Kanchenjunga range.
Then head to Dr. Graham’s Home School, built by Dr. J.A. Graham, which was originally an orphanage school. Explore its gardens before continuing.
Next, visit Hanuman Mandir. From here, you can see a full 360-degree view of Kalimpong. Later, go to the Cactus Nursery, where different types of cacti, flowers, and orchids grow.
Then visit Mangal Dham, a temple built in memory of Guruji Mangal Dasji and dedicated to Lord Krishna.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel. Enjoy the evening as you like. Stay overnight in Kalimpong.
Day 3: Pedong and Sillerygaon Excursion
After breakfast, leave for a day trip to Pedong and Sillerygaon. Pedong is about 22 km from Kalimpong.
It is a quiet village with thick alpine forests and views of Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Siniochu. The peaceful setting and mountain views make this visit special.
On your return, stop at Sillerygaon, a small village around 6000 feet high. Located just 25 km from Kalimpong, this hamlet offers forest views, local birdlife, and more sights of Kanchenjunga.
Return to the hotel. Spend the evening on your own. Have dinner and rest at night in Kalimpong.
Day 4: Lava and Lolegaon Sightseeing
Have breakfast and get ready for a tour of Lava and Lolegaon. Lava is 32 km from Kalimpong.
Visit Lava Monastery, see the view from Jhandidara Hilltop, and explore the Nature Interpretation Center to learn more about the local environment.
Then travel to Lolegaon, about 51 km from Lava. There, explore the Canopy Walk, visit Lolegaon View Point, and enjoy the peaceful setting.
After completing your tour, return to the hotel in Kalimpong. Spend the night there.
Day 5: Return to NJP or Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You will be dropped at NJP or Bagdogra Airport.
