Darjeeling Tour Plan for 2 Night 3 Days Details
Day 1 – Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ NJP/ Siliguri to Darjeeling Transfer
Our representative will meet you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). They will assist you with the transfer to Darjeeling, which is about a 75-kilometer drive taking 3 to 4 hours.
Darjeeling, at an altitude of 2042 meters (6700 feet), is known for its stunning beauty, tea gardens, and spectacular views of Mount Everest.
It is famously called the “Queen of the Hills” and is home to attractions like the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park.
Once you arrive, check into your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the Mall or visit the local shopping center. Enjoy an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2 – Darjeeling Full Day Local Sight Seeing
Early in the morning, around 3:45 AM, you will drive up to 8,000 feet (2,440 meters) through oak and magnolia forests to Tiger Hill to see the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak.
On your way back, you will visit Ghoom Monastery, the Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. After returning to the hotel, you will have breakfast and rest for about half an hour.
After the break, you will go for more sightseeing. This includes visiting the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, Tea Estate, Bengal Natural History Museum, and Japanese Peace Pagoda.
After sightseeing, you will return to the hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the area at your own pace. You will stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 3 – NJP/Bagdogra (IXB)/Siliguri Drop from Darjeeling
