Day 1 -NJP / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Siliguri to Darjeeling Transfer
Our representative will welcome the guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) and assist with the transfer to Darjeeling. The journey is about 75 kilometers and takes 3 to 4 hours by car.
Situated at an altitude of 2,042 meters (6,700 feet), Darjeeling is known for its stunning beauty, lush tea gardens, and breathtaking views of Mount Everest, earning it the title “Queen of the Hills.”
It is also home to the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park.
After checking into the hotel, the evening is free to explore the Mall or local shopping centers. Overnight stay will be in Darjeeling.
Day 2 – Darjeeling Full Day Local Sight Seeing
Start your day early at 3:45 AM with a drive to Tiger Hill, reaching an altitude of 8,000 feet (2,440 meters) through oak and magnolia forests to witness the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (weather permitting).
On your way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop before returning to the hotel for breakfast. After a short rest, continue sightseeing, which includes stops at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, a tea estate (outer view only), Bengal Natural History Museum, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda.
Return to the hotel in the evening, with free time to explore the area at your leisure. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 3 – Sightseeing at Takdah and Lamahatta
